This good old (40,000 miles) Yaris is ready to get the fine treatment it deserves after one trouble-free year of hard use. It's traveled all over the U.S., being driven through the coldest winters, hottest summers, hail, rain, snow, ice, tornados, gravel roads, and has killed many pheasants while in North Dakota.
First priority for me is the audio system. I love old-school, sound quality oriented equipment so I bought a couple small two channel Precision Power Art Series amps. Diamond Audio 6" components are already installed up front, with the tweeters flush mounted in the door triangles near the A-pillar. I'll have the amps in by September '07. My 10" JL Audio sub will be hidden somewhere in the trunk powered by the second amp. The 6x9s will be most likely left alone (I normally fade them out). The premium factory radio will be interfaced with the amps using my old-school Audio Control EQ since most aftermarket radios look goofy as hell in this car.

Next priority is 17" wheels and tires. Nothing that looks overly aggressive, though, it just wouldn't fit this car's personality. Feel free to post any wheel suggestions you think would suit this car! One thing is for sure, the 15" stockers gotta go.
Then comes the suspension. I was thinking Megan coil overs, but maybe a nice set of lowering springs and shocks will do.
Last (if I'm satisfied) will be intake/headers/exhaust/clutch/computer mods. If it's not enough, I may be forced to find a turbo kit.
08/03/07: Just bought a Perrin Performance Crank Pulley! 118.99 on ebay. I'll install it as soon as it comes in next week. I'll write a little review on it for y'all just to let you know if it's worth the money!
08/04/07: Just ordered some 8 AWG power cables and firewall grommets to hard-wire my 400 watt rms inverter to my battery. I'll install it in my glove box.
