383ci. Stroked LT1 Gm 846 camshaft, Eagle steel crank, Speed Pro pistons, ported and polished factory iron heads. This is what GM should have installed at the factory !!
The BBK 58mm throttle body does not fit the stock manifold without enlarging the bores a few mm's.
Trying to keep the intake somewhat clean !
There where a few spots that needed additional clearance.
Finished product fits the new Nitrous plate and throttle body perfectly.
What a pain in the Butt getting the hard lines to fit nicely.
I stripped it all back down and had the new bracket and what not powder coated, then started re-assembly.
Then everything got mocked up again, to check for fitment.
I couldn't wait, so I set the intake on the car, just to see what it looked like. Heck, I even half assed the engine dress on !!
Stainless steel SLP shorty headers got coated with Ceramachrome at Fireball Coatings .
And a 3" Torque Tech exhaust with Dynomax Race Magnum mufflers get rid of the exhaust and add a nice rumble to the BeaSSt.(alright .... Yes it's loud)
To add a little wow factory under the hood Reg See did lots of custom airbrush work. I also had ABC Powdercoating coat everything I could remove in either black or purple.
There are a few items waiting patiently in my basement. A Nitro Dave's 58mm plate system, a BBK 58mm throttle body, 3.5" f-body MAF and some more custom tuning by Bryan at PCM For Less .
