Ruby is a 1965 P1800S. She is about 80% complete, what remains is the interior. The motor is a 8 bolt B20 bored out 30 thousands with an Isky performance cam, then was balanced.
When I first got the car a PO had put a fabric top on it. Took two weeks to get it off and the 1/8" holes leaded in.
I attempted to get cow horn bumpers but availabilty and price prevented getting them so....nerf bars were built.
The wheels are from a 70 vintage BMW with wheel adapters from
"Adapt-it". I wanted Superlites" but the budget said no. The tires are 205 X 70 X 14.
She recently tool first place in the foreign division at the Snohomish car show,(My first attempt !)
The more I drive it, the better I like it.

What are you looking at for HP? My motor is stock i was thinking on getting it worked but was not sure if it would be worth it. Did you do the work of have a shop do it. I was guessing around $2500 would get me in the 180-200 hp range. http://www.v-performance.com has alot of great stuff. I was looking at a transplant from a nissan 240sx for about the same $$$ and i could get 5 speed.
