Ok I finally got my 2.4 ive wanted to im doin the swap.

this is my other neon I got for 500 bucks it is a 96 with a 95 engine I am putting my sohc in its place cause that motor dont belong there and it has wiring problems because its the wrong motor for that year.
so far got front strut bar and a 4-1 header doing more upgrades along with my 2.4 neon.

3-20-07 got 2.4 started had to change a few wires but still running rough working out the kinks.
3-21-07 found the problem I need to replace my intake manifold gasket it is leaking water and getting sucked into the intake runners so that is why is was running rough so now it runs great just got to get that custom motor mount ulness anyone has any new ideas for making one and puting my lowering kit on before I put the axels in.

This was how my car was sitting due to limited space atleast I have a garage lol.

This is an intake manifold off a dohc avenger this is what I going to be using for a better intake system plus I can run my piping through the hole on the passenger side were the airconditioning can sat so I wount be having so many curves in the intake piping.

4-8-07 Got it running perfect it was just a map sensor that was bad now I just got to get a new clutch it slips real bad so I cant feel all the power.
4-14-07 I wasnt getting full power lately it was lagging real bad between 3000-5500 rpms just wouldnt get up and go so I did some messing around and it came out to bein my injectors they was bad or clogged so I put a pair I had layin around they are the big fat round ones and omg this baby rocks and holds me in my seat it was way more than I was expecting. I bought an srt-4 turbo for the 2.4 now I just got to get the oilpan with the oillines,piping,intercooler,and blowoff!!!!! And it got such a deap growling tone to it sounds so good. I raced a DOHC neon today and with my clutch slipping a bit I still took it by like 5 car length the dude freaked out and asked what I had and his eyes got big when I said 2.4 then he ran it was funny.

4-15-07 Ok it wasnt the injectors cause I took the car out crusiing and racing last night and I had my temp sensor on the back of the block cause I have a temp gauge insralled and no were to put the stock on and it fell out from were I had it and was dragging on the ground and going hey wire making my cluster ding and say I was overheating so I unplugged it then it went back to running shitty so I pluged it back in and it worked fine. I need it cause it controls ur injector pulse. man this thing is so much faster.lol!!!
