A few weekends ago I got my hands on the chrome muffler tip of the 2000 max. Being that the muffler tips set up on my 3rd gen is a little closer than on the 2k I had to use a pipe expander to open the diameter of the neck on the inserts on the tip. This was done courtsey of my mechanic. Once done the tip eased on with a rubber mallet and fits nice and tight! Looks great, it gave the car that sleeker performance look. I opted to go with this set up and keep my stock muffler for now, since I have been told that the 2K max's muffler once put on a 3rd gen don't really give a big difference in power just more of a growl!

On the audio end I finally, got time to complete the DVD players trim piece, that little piece of plastic that surrounds the unit to hide the silver case from view. Now the radio benzel looks very flush and complete. At first i was having difficulty trying to get both trim pieces to fit into place. The reason was that I had the dvd player exactly right under the head unit!!! Won't work that way, so I had to change the dvd's bracket position a few mm forward, so the dvd player would sit slightly ahead of the head unit!! That was the key, now both trim pieces are in and look flush despite the change in position of the dvd player.

Here is a pic of the two units together as the finished product.

And know for the noise maker of the system the subs. I am using Orion XTR(1) & XTR(2) subs single voice 4 ohm each, bridged. I went with the XTR combo beacuse I orginally had purchased 2 XTR(1)'s and was giving 2 XTR(2)'s for a enclosure swap!!! Good Deal!!! :) I have 1 XTR(1) and 1 XTR(2) wired in parallel to drop the inpedence to 2 ohm stereo. I have about 280 watts RMS each channel which breaks down to about 140 watts each sub!! I will take pics of the front and rear stage amp along with the sub amp. Both amps are AudioBahn, here is a pick of the enclosure box

Here is a shot of the auxilury battery dedicated for the sound system so, if I decide to turn the car off I can pop the curcuit breaker and let the system play off of the SVR deep cycle battery. It has about 900 CCA so, I can run the system pretty loud for about three to four hours straight!!! So, If I need I can wash the car pop the trunk and detail old girl and still get good sound without worrying about draining the main battery!!!

I most recently have purchased 2 pairs of icon wireless headphones, the unwired version. I have the egg installed but am not really happy with the location and was having a problem with the constant power supply to the egg but need to incorporate a relay to correct the problem. Here is another dirty pic of old girl at the job!! As you can see I have the OEM rotors in there. I am planning on changing all of them to slotted-cross drilled shortly not to race but to give a better more sporty appearence. Here is a night pic of the new foglights that I put on the car with the halo's and fog/city light combo

Here are the pics of the Icon headphones I have two unwrapped and two still in the wrapper. I haven't had four people in the car yet to use all four!!!!
