I really have always been into the music aspect of car's compared to the performance aspect!! To be honest I really didn't get into the performance aspect until I saw, " The Fast and Furious" !! :) For my system I have Pioneer's Premier cd-player DEH-P930 as the head unit! For those who know about the premier line this deck is really worth it's money. It retails for about $840, but I got for $525!! I have a close friend who has it in her Honda also!! I know I know I said Honda!! Bare with me! :) But this deck can control everything from it's self, no need for additional sound processors because it has it all!! No need for passive or active cross-overs. Plus it has 6 Volt RCA jacks for those external amp users!!!

For my multimedia aspect I am using Pioneer's DVD player SDV-P7,jkmay01's 1989 Nissan Maxima both units are single din's so I have just piggied them both with the factory brace. I opted not to go with pioneer's monitors, just because of cost I wanted the 7 inch monitor and for about $400 and change I opted to go with a better alternative made by ICON. I went with a 6.8 inch, so close to a seven who can notice a fraction of a inch? I have mounted the monitor on a goose neck stand mounted from the floor. I will take some more pics of the install soon. jkmay01's 1989 Nissan Maxima

Another great add on because you can never get tired of the screens,it holds a total of about 32 if my memory serves me correct? I also have the Premeir 6 disk cd-changer cdx-P676 another good product. I am big on security of my audio products!! I believe in never making it easy for someone to break into your car and get ya stuff easy!! I hope no one's car ever get's broken into at all, but if they should make it as hard as hell for them to get the stuff out, and maybe they will become frustrated and just leave because of aggravation!! It has happened to some of my friends who had systems!!!

Here are some pics of the dometweets I have the orion xtr's up front and the audiobahn's in the rear. These are the rear set jkmay01's 1989 Nissan Maximajkmay01's 1989 Nissan Maxima

I am using audiobahn for my front and rear stage. My front stage consists of a pair of Orion XTR componet tweets 22mm on the door pillars along with a pair of 6.5 coax audiobahn AK652. I really like the audiobahns, they reproduce a great natural sound with very little distortion, also they incorporate a swivelling dome tweet on top of the woofer. For the rear stage I have another set of audiobahn dome tweets and a pair of 6X9 3 tri-axial. I have the dome tweets on the rear door pillars, AT 51's and the 6X9's in the fatory bose locations. The 6X9's offer the swivelling dome tweet and mid-range on the same pillar so I can aim them for the sweet spot of the car!!

Here is the most recent shot of the two units both in the radio din. Along with the monitor on a gooseneck coming up from the floor. I have plans in the near future to get another monitor for the back passengers.

Here is a night pic of the two units, if you can see I have the pic of me leaning on the car on the first page, flip back to the first page and come back to see the decks screen saver!!
