Well here is a summer shot I took in NYC!! Still working on the paint, when it gets warmer, I will go down to my locate car paint store and get some supplies to help remove the swirls and other defects!!
I really haven't done any major performance upgrades as of yet, but I have some things in the making!! As you can see I have done some basic performance upgrades like my shoes set (wheel & rims). I have moved up from stock set up of a 15 inch rim and tire size of 205/60/15 h-rated, to a 17 inch six spoke rim and tire size of 215/50/17 z-rated tire. I went with sumitumo's HTR+, z-rated at up to 135 to 155 maybe I think? You can check my info at http://www.sumitomotire.com/ there is the complete break down of my tires!!! Man,it was the best buy in my opinion they ride great!!! I don't push them hard all day everyday, but in my opinion I rather have it when I need it compared to needing it and not having it!!! Just a thought.
I really was trying to do the wheel and rim set up of the 2k and 2k1 of 225/40/17, but my rear strut tower would have rubbed on the inside of the tires causing major damage to a $145 tire!!! :( So, I had to opt for the 215/50/17 I really wanted the widest footprint for my car, but I also wanted a bigger rim!! Which I got with 2 rims sizes up!! So, bottom line is no rub outs, turn radius is fine and the ride is so smooth that I can just about fall asleep in her if the roads are paved smooth!! I have also, changed my rear sway bar for the quick lane changes!! So, put these two small upgrades in the equation and I can reach and maintain higher speeds, but still remain in control in lane changes!! I went with the suspension techniques sway bar. I am very happy with it, some people say that they like addico's version beacuse of the thicker diameter of the bar, but me I like what I have! I have plans to get the front sway bar by suspension techniques also.
