75 Duster Project
Here's the car. It's a 1975 Plymouth Silver Duster with 120,000 miles on it. The previous owner had it painted black and pinstripped it with maroon lines on both sides. I did some homework and found it it was a Silver Duster: it has dual horns, vinal top, 225 slant six, and when I looked under the deck lid I saw the former color was silver.

All in all the car isn't bad at all. The worst rust damage was in the trunk do to back weatherstrips and a small hole on the front floor pan drivers side. I got the car for $500 dollars and drove it home.

After an oil change, spark plugs, wires, a cap and rotor, and some trans fluid the car ran like a champ accept it was running insanely rich and stinking up my backyard. Rebuilding the carb helped smooth the idle and thinned out the mix a little bit. The engine has an intermitent miss, I've still got to run a compression test, power-balance, and cylinder leakage test.
