Background - This is my 88 mustang gt 5.0, I bought it recently this spring with my Dad because we couldn't wait to finish our 88 mustang gt 5.0 t-top project. Im just 18 years old, and pretty lucky.
The car is painted 2004 competition orange. It has 3 inch exhaust, BBK intake, underdrive pullies, BBK headers, 3.27 gears out back, Pro 5.0 shifter, custom stiched shifter boot, King Cobra clutch, 8mm ford racing spark plug wires. 8000K HID headlightkit. Check back for more
Summer 09: I finally went for the 5 lug up grade. I got used spindles from a 94 V6 mustang and 92 driver side ranger axles from a junk yard. I picked American Muscle 18x9 black bullitt deep dish wheels for the front with 245/40/18 Nitto NT555 tires. On the back 18X10 deep dish bullitt wheels with 275/35/18 Nitto NT555 tires out back! I love the way it looks now, its sharp and agressive! here is some pics from the 5 lug upgrade and the new wheels!
Late Summer 09 My old T5 trans started poping out of first gear on me, and grinded shifting into second, and i could feel the thing just grinding on the inside, so we ordered a brand new T5 trans from Steeda. My dad and I put it in on a sunday only took a few hours of hard work, and we also fixed a horrible oil leak between the back of the oil pan and the block. Now the car has a brand new T5 in it and it doesnt leak oil anymore either! check out the fluid that came out of my trans!
