RyanF2005's 1988 GMC Sierra


This is my '88 GMC Sierra. This truck has come a long way from the rusted 220,000 mile truck that I bought when I was 16. The first thing I did was the stereo system. The truck came with subs when I bought it but I upgraded them to 2 12" Kicker Comp VRs. Also upgraded was the CD head unit to an Alpine, and I installed Infinity 4"x6" speakers in the dash. Next was the engine which I had rebuilt along with the transmission. I had the truck painted with the stock two-tone paint job. I wanted to change the color of it but I am glad I stuck with the origonal color. There aren't too many two-tones like that around anymore, but I have noticed that the two-tone paint jobs seem to be becoming popular again. The front end has been upgrade from the '88 grill shell to a '98 grill shell with a phantom grill and Euro headlights and clear corners. Around back is a fiberglass molded rollpan and stock taillights. There is a Line-X spray-in bedliner also. For the shoes I wanted to go with classic Cragers but I decided to go with American Racing Torque Thrust II's. They are 17"s wrapped in Toyo Proxes S/T's. Future plans include a mild 2" 4" drop, and I would like to get the interior redone too. Well this is my truck and I hope you like it.

Very nice truck man. I love the rims. I've been wanting to get the exact wheels and tires for my truck and get rid of the twentys. mean lookin truck. 5 starz check mine out sometime.
