this is a page of pics i took at the drags and a may put some of other subjects as well .
these mopars below are some pics i took at the U.S. 131 raceway park in michigan on aug. 28th (saturday only ) 2004 email me if you would like a larger pic sent via email ? the first one is a mopar powered willys , i dont know what mopar engine it had but it ran hard !
all these pics were taken with my olympus c-730 camera , it has 3.1 mega pixels and a whopping 10x optical zoom ! the day was dark and cloudy and i had to lighten the pics on my computer even so the pics would have been even nicer on a nice day ! i have had pics made as big as 11" x14" from this camera and they come out nice when you take the pics on the highest settings ! it even can take short videos !
the ones below were NOT taken with my 730 olympus since i didn't own it yet when they were taken ! HERE ARE SOME PICS FROM WHEN I LIVED IN CALIF.
THE YELLOW 63 WAS ONE I BUILT FOR A CUSTOMER NAMED AL COOPER . I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM AL IF ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW'S WHERE HE IS ? HE USED TO LIVE IN SAN DIEGO CALIF. BUT I DONT KNOW NOW ?
THE YELLOW TAXI IS A VOLARE WE BOUGHT REALLY CHEAP AND THREW SOME OF OUR GOODIES IN IT FOR A LAUGH . IT'S BEST TIME WAS 11.70 AT 116 MPH , WE HAD A '69 340 AND A THEN A 360 IN THE CAR . IT STARTED WITH A '73 340 WITH LOW COMP. AND A 501 COMP CAMS HYD . WE GOT IT TO 12.68 @ 107 MPH WITH THAT OLD MOTOR . THEN THE DUSTER , THE FAMOUS CAR FROM SOUTHERN CALIF. OWNED BUY MY GOOD FRIEND DARRELL . HE RECENTLY SOLD THIS CAR . DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO BOUGHT IT ?
