Page is under constant construction

This is my first car, a 1992 Chevy Corsica LT. It's currently got 124,xxx miles on it. Got it from a friend for 75 bucks and it runs like a beast. The front doors don't like to open from the outside, not that bad of a hassle. I got the wheels from my older brother for free, once I slapped those on I knew I wanted to do more work on it. The paint is really crummy and flakes off all the time, I plan on painting it black, tinting the headlights and the taillights, and either, getting clear side markers, or tinting those out also.

01/07/08-- Been a while since I've updated but it's been pretty crazy. Back in december my water pump froze and I ended up having to tow my car (the next day) all the way out to my parents house using a home-made car dolley. Got a new one and fixed her up. After that I found out that my bandpass sub box broke.

-6 of the screws on the bottom holding the plexi-glass were snapped off because the subs I put in it were too powerful for it to handle, pretty hilarious if you ask me. Just got a new box from a co-worker 2 days ago and I threw it in yesterday, sounds a lot better and it also looks cleaner. (pics up soon)

-I'm waiting for this spring to roll around, my brother, dad and I are going to be putting a bunch of new body parts onto the car, I'm guessing it'll have new doors, new hood, fenders, and bumpers. Along with fixing my headlights and modding my taillights, finally.

11/04/07-- Not much of an update. Got rid of the old parts car and found another one for free. Going to be putting on new doors, new bumpers, new hood, taillights, maybe be able to fix the hi/low beams (my highs don't work) New fenders. Yeah, and all that for free? Pretty nice.

10/23/07-- Subs are FINALLY in, took way too long. It's pretty sweet for my first system. Ran into a few problems, seeing as how it was my brother and I that did all the work I'm not too surprised. Pictures up soon!!!

10/05/07-- Foglights installed, took a while, but well worth it, I love 'em. Pictures on page 3. Took the alternator and plug wires off of the parts car and they'll be, either, sitting in the garage until they're needed, or put on the Corsica sooner or later. My brother is helping me with the box for the subs and with all the wiring, I want them in soon, but we'll see how long it actually takes.

10/04/07-- SUBS AND AMP ARE HERE! 2 12" MA audio 700w MA120XE sub and a 2200w SPL FX2-2200 amp. Woot! Just gatta make the box and get other stuff, it'll probably be in next week.

9/22/07-- Got some new fog lights from my g/f. Going to get them on the car on tuesday, hopefully. Pictures up, and I will have pictures of the finished product as soon as I get them installed.

8/22/07-- Took the rotors off of the parts car, cleaned 'em up and got rid of the rust, then put them on my car with new brake pads. Stops pretty good now. Also took the center console out of the other car, cleaned it good, painted some pieces and put it in my car, I now have an arm rest! Gatta repaint parts of it though, I used a glossy paint and it's WAY to shiney.

8/17/07-- Got myself a glasspack, had my dad help me put that on, sounds like a beast! Also got the back seat from the parts car and put it in mine, looks really nice.

8/3/07-- Took off all the emblems and sanded them done to nothing. Got myself a parts car and started stripping that, got new visors, a new center console, a new rear seat. I'm taking the taillight and making it so all THREE of the available places light up. (If anyone's got good info. on how to do this, send me a message) We're grabbing a bunch of other things off of the parts car, well worth 150 bucks!

ON THE CAVALIER YOU HAVE TO TAKE OFF THE WHOLE DASH ASSEMBLY MAN THERE ARE SCREWS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE DASH, REMOVE THE PANELS ON WHERE THE FUSES GO AND THE OPPOSITE SIDE. THEN THERE ARE SCREWS RUNNING ALONG THE GLOVEBOX UPPER EDGE THEN YOU HAVE THE 2 SCREWS THAT HOLD THE AIRBAG AND U CAN FIND THOSE IN THE GLOVEBOX LEFT HAND SIDE, THEY ARE 2 GOLD SCREWS AND FINALLY THE SCREWS UP ON THE WINDOW DEFOGGER
