Engine Mods
The engine is a 350 that has been bored .030" over to make it a 355. I believe the block is from 1974. It was rebuilt about 5500 miles ago. The rods have been side polished and shot-peened. The pistons are KB flat tops. It has a Comp Cams camshaft - the exact specs are unknown to me. The heads are stock GM units from 1974. The heads have been ported and polished with a bowl job. They have 2.02" intake valves and 1.60" exhaust valves. The heads have screwded-in studs and guide-plates. Unfortentaly the rockers are still stock stamped-steel units. I have a Weiand Stealth intake manifold. The carb is an old Holley double pumper. It is a 600 cfm unit with the choke tower completely removed.
