Welcome to my ride!! This is a true Toyota Hilux Surf with right hand steering. I bought it bone-stock from Orion Used Cars in Machida, Tokyo Japan, making me the second owner. I gave it a few runs off-road and immediately fell in love with the way it handled. I named it "Necobus" after my wife at the time mentioned riding in it reminded her of a character in a Miyazaki film.
That's when the modding bug bit me...
The first thing I installed a Stage I 4" lift & Eagle 3" Body Lift(picture 1). She's currently lifted 14" over stock featuring parts from TRD, ProComp, Fabtech, Eagle, Skyjacker, Daystar, WARN, Spidertrax & Sway Away. My engine mods are numerous & include E3 plugs & BOSCH 8mm wires, K&N air filter in front with Downey ceramic headers combining into a Magnaflow cat & 55mm hand-crafted stainless steel exhaust. Hella headlamps, Raybrig 90/120 Whitesonic bulbs, IPF 900 H4 Super Off Roader lights, and Optronics Fog lamps both front & rear illuminate what I'm about to drive though or over with Procomp 35x12.50x15 Mud Terrains on BERG S IV wheels. I want to throw a quick "shout out" to the experts at Eastern Truck & Accessories in VA Beach for their invaluable help replacing the Stage 1 with the ProComp Stage II and installing the Daystar Poly-U bushings(I know it was a real pain!) As you can see in the last picture, she's as much fun off the road as on and always turning heads :)
