This is my 2001 HD Silverado crew cab. I'm not gonna waste our time telling you about the trivial "custom mods" such as blue light bulbs or the go fast stickers. I'm not even going to waste disk space on my cam to show you night pics of my headlights and "custom clear corners" because contrary to popular belief here on this site, CUSTOM DOESN'T SNAP ON, STICK ON AND ESPECIALLY DOES NOT DUCT TAPE ON. But I will tell you about the important things. Ive decided on the cadillac front end. I shaved the third break light, tailgate, gas tank filler door, and the steak bed pockets. I'm also putting on a roll pan, chrome escalade handles (I would shave them but in my opinion, chrome will look better on black) and escalade guages. I already put a 3 inch fab-tech spindle lift on it and tightened the torsion bars about two inches, and I put new torsion bar keys on that added another two inches. I'm doing another 4.5 inch lift before it's done. Plus the new 37 inch Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires, on 17 inch rims, or the 39.5" trxus interco swampers. I decided to paint it black. It will make the chrome handles stand out.
I got a roll pan and the "Under Construction" sticker the other day. I welded the roll pan and the bottom of the fender on and now I'm doing the body work.

I finally got the kit and am in the process of installing it.

This is the entire kit in the Genuine GM parts boxes. Damn thats alot of stuff.

This is it before the escalade clip got here.
This is about the height it will be! With the tires and lift. I'm in the pic as a height reference. No, I'm not a midget. I'm 6 foot tall, so you can see the truck is pretty big.

I got it all primered but I still have a little bit of body work left to do.
Notice the shaved 3rd brake light, and stake bed pockets. Not quite done yet but it's close.

this is the new frame

I got my frame and was so excited that I got everything transfered from the old frame in about a day, surprisingly. I thought it was going to take alot longer.
this is the old frame

This is when I bought it!
