Finally installed the Euro Chrome Tailights from customsorento.com. These look great! Saw a lot of pictures of them on this and other sites but when you actually see them in person> WOW! Very easy install: remove two housing screws / snap light to the left(driver side) / pull out / twist out bulb housings / remove 2 alignment screws(shown below) / reverse to install. Had to peel back some of the electrical tape for all bulbs to reach their mounts.
Removed the Dealer sticker. Read somewhere to rub vigorously with an eraser from a pencil but that didn't seem to do squat. Just carefully peeled the letters off then cleaned the residue with Green Max on a damp cloth. Cleaned with auto soap then waxed with some Mothers Glaze Sealer.
My best bud "Rasco" loves his Sunday morning ride in the Sorie!
Installed the bumper insert 8/11/07. Did all the fitting and drilling then painted it flat black. Let it dry overnight before installing.

hey what size double din is that? is that a 7 inch or smaller? and if its 7 inch do u have any problems with the detaching of the faceplate or if its motorized does anything block or anything along those lines....very nice job on the sorento btw....gives me something to look forward too.lol
