I present for your enjoyment, fear, or envy, the following:

1997 Dodge Neon Highline Coupe

ryleynoyes's 1997 Plymouth Neon

When I bought this Neon off eBay, I was a bit misled. Everything the seller told me was true, but it wasn't quite as clean of a car as I thought. It needed some attention to wiring, rerouting and moving pieces to eliminate possible failures and redoing connections. Also had major paint issues, the body kit wasn't prepared correctly, so all the paint was flaking off really badly.

Here is what the Neon had already installed when I purchased it:

-Crane Cams valve springs and titanium retainers,
-Upgraded Lash Adjusters and Rocker Arms,
-JE turbo (8.5:1 compression) pistons,
-Eagle Rods,
-New crankshaft,
-New Oil Pump,
-MSD Ignition,
-New bearings and gaskets,
-Alternator overdrive pulley,
-Crankshaft underdrive pulley (bolts came loose and wrecked itself through vibration),
-Rear wheel spacers.
-Aftermarket tail lights
-Aftermarket 15" Rims
-Neon SRT-4 factory exhaust

The Neon as pictured on eBay:

Since I bought the car, I have installed the following:

-Kumho Ecsta AST 195/50-15 tires on the generic 15" 5 spoke rims that came with the car
-Mopar Performance Bobble Strut (aka engine damper)
-Mopar High rate springs
-Factory Koni adjustable struts
-Factory Fuel Pump (I was stranded on the way back from picking up the car, I thought it was the fuel pump, but it ended up being just a bad ground wire!)
-Energy Suspension urethane bushing set (except on the sway bars)ryleynoyes's 1997 Plymouth Neon

-Drive Shaft Shop stage 3 axles

-Depo projector headlights (black) with super white bulbs
-APC bumper lenses (front bumper turn signals)
-Silver coated turn signal bulbs (still orange when on, and therefore still legal!)

-Modern Performance underdrive pulley

-3mm wheel spacer (front)

-PBR rear brake drums
-Hawk performance brake pads
-Offset rear control arms (extra clearance for bigger rear tires for road racing

I also have some parts that will be installed in the next couple weeks, and also some parts that I'm waiting to recieve still.

To be installed soon:

-Walbro 255 lph in-tank fuel pump
-Walbro 255 lph in-line booster pump
-MSD Noise Adapter (to help eliminate whine in the sound system)
-Glowshift oil filter sandwich adapter (for turbo oil feed, and oil pressure and oil temperature senders)

-Autometer gauges (digital pro shift light level 2, Cobalt pyrometer, Cobalt electric water temp, Cobalt electric oil temp, Cobalt wideband O2 [air/fuel ratio], Cobalt electric oil pressure, and Cobalt vacuum/boost)

-MegaSquirt ECU system (MS1 version 3 with MS2 upgrade kit for full fuel and spark control, also will use this to control boost possibly)
-Quaife limited slip differential
ryleynoyes's 1997 Plymouth Neon
-TransDapt remote dual filter kit (3 reasons, first being under car clearence due to the oil adapter sandwich, better filtering and slightly higher oil capacity)
-Neon Goodies intake and throttle body spacers
-Neon Goodies EGR eliminator kit
-Neon Goodies steel tow hook
-Factory style hood (the hood scoop blew off when I met a semi this past winter, leaving a big nasty hole in the hood)
-Factory style front bumper
-Factory style rear bumper
-Maddog short throw shifter

Still waiting to arrive:

-Neon Goodies 3D dash insert (makes the factory gauges look less factory!)

I also have to order some parts yet, to include a GT3076R turbo from Garret, as well as the intercooler, piping, and injectors (probably 1000cc)

And last but certainly not least, the stereo:

-Pioneer Head Unit (details later)
-Pioneer 4300F amp (approx. 40 wattsx4 channels for my regular speakers)
-Pioneer speakers front and rear, 6.5? front and 6x9 rear (more details later)
-Kicker Solo Baric L7 12" Dual 4 Ohm subwoofer x2 (the big sqaure ones, 750w RMS, 1500w peak)
-Kicker ZX750.1 amp x2 (750w x1 @2 Ohms RMS, 1500w x1 @2 Ohms peak)
-Rockford Fosgate digital capacitor, 2 farad (more details later)
