MAXRB8’s Honda Odyssey
“Odyssym”

Here's our 2006 Honda Odyssey " Touring" Edition, it is a Canadian model so it doesn't have TPMS or PAX, frankly I'm really glad it doesn't have the PAX system. The colour is Ocean mist metallic. The Touring model has lots of bells and whistles to take the boredom out of driving a "Minivan" such as backup Camera with sensors, DVD system for the kids! Navigation with lots of other interfaces such as messages and reminders. Voice command for almost everything. Memory seating in the remote so the seat is set before you even get in the Van! Nice touch. Triple climate control. Power adjustable pedals as well as all the usual luxury features: sunroof, leather seats, PW, AC etc etc.

Being a mod freak I just had to tweek the Van also. Currently it has 18"MDX Wheels with 235/55/18 Michelin Pilots, and the stock wheels now have winter Blizzaks.

We have a aftermarket hood deflector with a factory sunroof delfector and a totally custom heads up! navigation display "Patrick" A K&N drop in filter and a "MR Grille" front billet grill.

Also firestone airbag rear lift.

I'd love to install a skirt kit but we have a towing package and an inclined driveway so I don't think it's going to happen. Speaking of towing package. The dealer wanted $1,600!!!!!!!! for the towing package at the time of sale, can't image what it cost after, but the factory hitch is so neatly tucked up inside the bumper versus the aftermarket hitch where you see the big honking bar hanging under the van we opted to spend the extra $$$ for the factory hitch and went aftermarket for the wiring and coolers ( AT & PS), I installed the hitch and wiring myself, I paid my mechanic to supply and install the PS & AT coolers ( much bigger and better than factory ones I might add!) and the whole thing came out to $650.... not bad.

This is my lovely daughter presenting our van when we first got it!...... She loves the DVD!!

I bought the MDX's wheels as a dealer takeoff package which came with 255/55/18 tires and TPMS sensors, the tires were too oversized so I sold them and also sold the TPMS sensors on ebay, to make a long story short after selling the tires and sensors the rims ended up costing only $170 for all four!!!!!!! Sweet deal. Before I sold that suff I mounted them and took a couple of pics:

What kind of transmission cooler did your mechanic add?

Hey Andrew,

I have the skirt on my Ody and I didn't have an issue with the inclined driveway at my house or anywhere for that matter. It actually doesn't lower the vehicle clearance. Now, WHEN you decide to lower the vehicle, then you will have to go slow puuling in and out of your driveway as I have found. Ihave also spied a Ody with the towing hitch and the skirt. They cut a little square where the hitch reciever is and thats all.
