June 2003: A new look for the center console. I have been thinking about doing this ever since I saw this stuff in a store last year. It looks better in person and is only a little difficult to apply. The process is a spray on base coat followed by a brush on top coat that is then textured by applying crinkled plastic wrap across the surface to create the "Classic Leather" appearance. The resulting surface is a little rough so I used polishing compound to smooth it a bit. I just picked up a can of the satin clear coat specifically for this treatment. Hope to apply it over the weekend. BTW, the coin / cup holder is a work in progress.

Sweet R package I had one just like and traded it for A jeep BIG MISTAKE. Anyways still have the jeep and now have two miatas A 93 LE and A 90 Roadster project. Check out out my two MX5s sometime and keep up the good work.
