Rick's 1971 Monte Carlo

this is my '71 Monte Carlo. It's a work in progress. i bought it in february of 2005. i traded her for $500 and a rusty old 86 chevy 1 ton pickup and a rough lookin 16 foot trailer. i knew it was gonna be a long journey with this car, but it was still more than i expected. it's all been a learning process. i think i know motors pretty well, but the body work i had to learn. the paint is dupont chroma premier base/clear 2006 mercedes mystic blue pearl and it has a black vinyl top.

It has:
-4 inch Glasstek cowl induction hood
-Weld Draglite wheels. 15x7 225/70/15 front and 15x9 295/60/15 rear with Cooper Cobra GT tires. (wheels may change depending on money issues i'd like to get something else instead over the winter-i'd love to get foose nitrous II's)
-dakota digital dash
-small block Chevy 355 cubic inch
-flat top pistons
-scat crank & rods
-Brodix aluminum heads (ported and polished)
-Crower solid roller cam
-crower solid roller lifters
-comp roller rockers (pro magnums)
-stud girdles
-double roller timing chain
-Brodix sp-1 intake manifold

-6AL ignition box
-electronic fuel pump
-stainless braided fuel lines

-march serpentine belt system
-headers 1 7/8 primaries (spreadport)
-power shot nitrous system
-turbo 400 built by Bankston Transmission
-TCI 3000 stall torque convertor
-12 bolt posi 3.90 gear ratio (all Richmond internals)
-flowmaster 2 1/2 inch exhaust (changing to 3 1/2" next year)
-flowmaster mufflers (i have dynomax for next year)
-OPGI Front Tubular Control Arm Kit
-QA1 Pro Coil Systems 1 coil over kit
-new interior (new headliner, carpet, seats redone)
-custom made driveshaft
i'm going to have the seats redone over the winter & i cant decide whether to go all black or black outer trimmed in blue.(or maybe silver?) maybe i'll pull some leather seats out of a newer wrecked car? who knows, i have plenty of time to think it over.
