My names Seth, I have a 2.3L 79 Mustang

I am currently having a quest for 200hp to the crank with no turbo so wish me good luck. Check out my videos and rate my car!

Update 7/19/07
Tommorow I plan on sanding a part of those light covers so they will fit my car. But anyways I took some pics of them temporarly taped to my car to see what they will look like.

UPDATE 7/20/07
Well I made a side exhuast exit on my car. It saves me about 25lbs and makes a more agressive sound cause the glasspack is bloted up closer to the motor. Anyway, here are some pictures

I cut the flange off the tubing that bolted up to my down tube and it fit perfectly into my glasspack and then I clamped it down

after I clamped down that I simply just bolted it up to my downpipe

after that I put a curve on the end of the glasspack and made it stick out of the side. Right now it looks really tacky but when i get a lil more money I am buying a cheap chrome exhaust tip and cutting off about 5" off of the tube that sticks out now and then it will look mare cleaner then it is now.

UPDATE 7/28/07
Well, I havent done jack shit to my car lately so I guess I am pretty lazy. I still havent got around to sanding down those light covers yet *hits self in the head*.

But I just thought I needed to update ;-)

UPDATE 8/2/07
Ok, ive been bartering around on mustangforums.com tryin to get some new/used parts for my car for the last few days. So far I might be getting a set of gauges from a 86 GT mustang (I will have to swap the speedo out with mine so it works properly) or i might get an after market tach, Im hoping to get the set of gauges. And today I just made a deal with someone and I am buying a tubular header from a ranger for my car. It is less restivtive, lighter, better exhaust sound, and will give me some more hp (YAY) Thanks mopman93 from the forums. I am buying it for $30 and I dont wanna pass it up. I am getting the set of gauges for free and am paying the shipping (thanks sleeper_inc from the forums) but if I cant get those, I will just be gettin an after market tach. But thats an update and will put a new one up when I get the header on or if something else is done. Oh and I still havent got around to sanding those light covers down, lol

UPDATE: 8/10/07
I got the header and right after I got home I was fixing it up. I took the vent off by drilling out the rivets, ported the inlets and then polished them, I cut off the part that goes to a metal tube cause I dont need it, and when I got it, the outlet had a rusted bolt that was impossible to get off so I cut off one end and then drilled it out, but the only thing I have to do is get one hole capped and welded (I would do exept I dont have a welder) and then find a bolt to go in the o2 bung. And then I have to take my A/C off cause one of the bolts is behind it (I am keeping the A/C off) and then I can swap the exhaust manifold for the header. The only thing I am worried about is my original down tube will not line up exactly with it, so I may have to cut a part off and make a flange on the end of the new cut and then hook it up to the new header. I will have exhaust videos after I am done and plan on making a video of open header so everyone can see what a open header 2.3L NA mustang can sound like. Wish me luck, and sign my guestbook to tell me how I am doing and how I can improve performance. Thanks to all the people who view my profile!!

UPDATE: 8/19/07

UPDATE: 09/23/07
Wow... I havent had an update in like a month!! Lots of different changes and lots of different plans... I decided to do a 2.3L EFI turbo swap.... im sick of the carb!! I want power! And i picked up a garret T3 like a week ago from some tweaker for $40.... its a little turbo and I am not using it, I am just gonna hold on to it or maybe sell it. But the changes in my car.... I ripped out the carpet and fiber pad and replaced it with marine carpet to make it lighter... no fiber pad!! I also removed the rear seats, So my car is now alot lighter and is a bit quicker now too.... But thats pretty much it for now... I will get pics as soon as I can
