ELECTROMOTIVE TEC3 INSTALL

Pictured here is the TEC3 package minus a few sensors that are on the engine already. Pictured is the ECU, main and power wire harness, wide band O2 sensor (not part of the TEC3 package), idle motor and mount, 3 bar MAP sensor, 60(-2) wheel sensor and direct fire units(coil packs).

I am trying my best to clean up the engine compartment as much as possible. The coil packs presented a problem, they are large and there is not a good place in the engine compartment for them that would not present a problem of long spark plug wires. I really lucked out in trying to mount them behind the fire wall panel next to the heater fan motor. They fit like a glove and will enable short spark plug wire. Best yet, they are hidden!

The MAP sensor was an easy mount. Just a mere inches of vacuum line. Another great spot.

THIS IS TRULY A RARE CLASSIC, BUT WHAT'S EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE IS THAT IT HAS A MONSTER ENGINE UNDER THE HOOD. I SEE YOU'VE PUT ALOT OF WORK INTO THIS SPECIAL VEHICLE AND YOU DESERVE THE PRAISE...10 STARS. COME CHECK OUT MY E39.
