"OPERATION TURBO" - NA engine removal and engine comartment prep for new engine.

With �OT� looming in the near future, I was on the hunt for a location to do it. I needed a big space that is covered and had electricity.

Weeks went by looking and we finally decided to place an ad in the local paper. We were contacted by a local (8.5 minute drive) guy who has a farm and lots of garage space to rent. I totally got hooked up with a LARGE garage that has electricity and best yet, a pit! The garage even has a 9� I beam running across the roof where I am using an I beam clamp and a winch to pull the engine. Rent is only 25 euro a month too. The owner is a great guy who speaks next to no English. With all of the tools, engine stands, lights and various items for the project occupying his garage now, he is still very happy to have me. He even provided me with three work benches.

So here are some pictures of the car being prepped for the engine to be removed. Most of the parts off of the current engine will be transplanted to the turbo motor. With just about everything being new from �OPERATION HARTGE�, I feel confidant with the transfer of parts. I will be replacing the water pump, timing chain and other important items with new parts though.
