My dad's mate and i tracked down this old LH SRL 5000 that my father owned when he was a young lad. He sold it just before my mum and him got married to get a deposit on our house. We thought we would have tracked it down for his birthday in June but was only a couple of weeks late. mum and i were thinking of buying it for his birthday but ended up thought we shock him when we drove to this random guys house that was over the Vic border in Mt Gambier. We arrived at the house which dad's mate lead us to and walked over to the shed. Dad didn't think anything of it until we opened the doors and here was his old car! He thought it was only the same as his until he looked under the bonnet to discover the chrome mags he had put there over 24 years ago! They were a little rusty but still there! The car didn't have any flares on it when dad owned it and alot of the mechanical side of things had changed too.
