This is my 2002 land rover disco series 2, dual sunroofs, full time 4x4 with 2 speed transfer case and 4.0 V8 putting out 188 HP and 250 ft/lbs. Its only got 44k miles on it. It has 30" interco trxus sts a/t's wrapped around 15" cragars. I love this truck i wouldnt take any other truck over this thing (well besides another rover). I guess if i had to get something else it would be a jeep wrangler. I have big plans for this thing so check back soon.

Thanks for checking out my page, sign my guestbook and rate my ride and i'll return the favor. Check out my brothers mustang as well http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3077491

NO HILL TOO STEEP NO DITCH TOO DEEP

Well heres the damage from the trails. The front end is prety screwed up, the crossmember bent and was about 1/2 inch from the steering. I must've snagged the crossmember on a root.

Here's the other damage that i did on the trails. I guess a tree limb snaggged it and just ripped it off

How it should look

wnt to the louisiana offroad expo this weekend, I didnt get many pics but the ones below are of the trail rides on sunday. I accidentally slipped into the wrong group of jeeps and i wound up on the HARD trails which the disco did pretty good on.
The group consisted of about 95% of jeeps with the exception of my rover a H3, a fj crusier, and 3 yotas. I did get some pretty bad body damage on the front end of the disco i will be posting pics later.

Gigantic z71 on 41" irok's( he didnt go on the trail rides though)

This was the hardest part of the trail there was this hill which had about a 3 foot deep rut and another which didnt have any and was covered in mud which was impossible for me to get any traction on. The jeep pictured in the pic below this one had 36" tsl sx tires and a huge lift and he bottomed out.

3/27- took the disco mudding at two different places. Didnt get stuck but came pretty close.

NEW ROOF RACK

My next mod to the rover will be 4 6" kc daylighters and a reverse light along with a hi-lift jack and a mount so i can mount it on the rack.

FLEXING

UPDATE 3/17- Just ordered a half rack, and ladder for the disco.

Heres a list of everything i would like to do to the disco. I'm sure not all of them will get done but this is just a want list basically.

-front and rear arb air lockers with compressor
-ARB bull bar
-9,000 lb winch
-full interior wood trim kit
-2-3" lift with 31" mud terrains
-Offroad lights
-safari snorkel
-Flowmaster exhaust
-vigg designs hood blackout
-steering skidplate

Heres a 04' discovery i saw on ebay. Mine should look almost identical to this one when it is finished.

muddy like its supposed to be

Trimmed the lower front bumper for more clearance:
Before:

After:

new reciever shackle bracket

was creeping around a pretty deep mudhole and slid in bottomed out and did this. good thing was i didnt get stuck.

OME stabilizer installed

* update 12/28/07- tires and rims installed

This is the new tire/rim combo about to go on the disco. The tires are 29" interco trxus sts AT tires. These tires are way underrated, They are very good in the mud and very little noise on the street. Supposidely they are one of the best sand tires out there, I havent had a chance to try them in the sand yet. The rims are 15x8" black cragar rims with a 5x 4.75 bolt pattern and 4" of backspacing.
