now the only thing letting the car down was the engine bay, so it was time to do the engine swap, as the engine bay didnt get painted when I did the respray, while the motor was out was a perfect time to give it a quick coat, id decided to go with a black engine bay and paint the entire motor an gearbox green matching the body, before it was painted everything was sent in for a rebuild.

Donar car for the engine swap

during the engine conversion i upgraded the brakes to larger vented rotors on the front and from drums to discs on the rear, i also fitted some d2 coilovers so i could get the car that little bit lower.
(pics will be up soon of these)

all done and running (unfortunatley the paint thats was on the headers lasted about 5 mins after it was running as you can see in the pic with smoke coming off it)

well after about 800kms i found out the block actually wasnt rebuild when it spun a big end bearing (wasnt happy)
after this happened a 4age 20 valve block was sourced and sent in to be rebuilt then i painted the block and it was fitted.

since the car was back off the road with the big end problem i decided i would polish the intake manifold (there is something like 50 hours worth of sanding and filing to achieve this look)

also gave the alternator and starter motor a freshen up too

all fitted and looks awesome made all the hard work worth it, had a mate make up the stainless pipe from the intake manifold to the air filter for a bit more shine in the engine bay

still trying to find the absolute lowest i can go with the coilovers, this is how the car currently sits i have a few more modifications planned for the rear suspension to get it another inch or so lower

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: http://www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.html hopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!
