Your Challenge,if you choose to accept it is..Identify where these parts go..because I forgot to label these ones when I was taking the truck apart. I think the one on the left goes higher up behind the rad support(so in the engine bay),driverside? And that thing on the right,is an L shape bracket thing with two screws with bolts in it. I put them in there so I wouldnt lose them. Any help is appreciated =)

It's DEFINATELY a work in progress. Honestly, this is the ONLY picture I have before the accident when my truck was 100% untouched, bought as is. Best $500 I ever spent though. I just turned 17 when I bought this truck..now I'm turning 19, it's been 1 1/2 years since I started ripping it down..School and work have made the process slow, but I've been making progress..

1990 2 Dr S15 Jimmy 4.3L 4x4. Debadged it..but now you can't even tell what color it was since I've been tearing it right down to get the rust. It's been a learning process for sure, but I think I've finally gotten this restoration/autobody stuff down pat =) So once this baby is done,I'll be towing in the 1960's 4dr LandCruiser from a friend's acreage and starting on that.

UPDATE Sept 12/09-  So it's been pretty hectic. I'll only be able to work on my truck any days I get off from University,so Stat Holidays pretty much. This will be the 2nd winter it has spent in the garage, but the front end is almost in one piece.

I have to loosen the fender bolts and some one pushes the fender in while I line up the hood hinge bolts up top. I want to replace the other tirewell but it's $65 I don't have. I still have alot of other small parts to finish priming and paint'em. And I just need to decide if I should use sheet metal and weld in those pieces in the rusted out areas I cut,or get the pre-formed quarter panel sections from like NAPA which cost an arm&a leg. I also need to find some one with a MIG welder or something

Well on the newer ones i'm not real sure on the bolt pattern and offset. I recently bought a 1997 jimmy and put my rims on it with no problems, but they might have changed something when they redesigned it in 1998. i know the older generation runs the same rims as a bmw. They both have the 5.475 bolt pattern with about a 40 offset. Heres a link to a set of rims that look kinda like gallardo rims that has a list of bmw gm vehicle fitments that might make it easier to find a set for yours. It says it will fit 88-up s10s and s15s. Theyre about the same price i paid and are 18s instead of my 17s. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RVM-AT5-18-BLACK-RIMS-WHEELS-BLAZER-S-10-SONOMA-4WD_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3a54fe4992QQitemZ250534054290QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Hey thanks. It's just nice to know im helpin to keep the older style on da road rather than in the scrapyard lol. My rims i bought on ebay from a business that went out of business. you can also get rims from BMWs so you could probably find a cheap set like mine this way.

The pic on the right looks like your horn and it mounts on the top of the radiator support in between the radiator and the headlight. there should be a small hole drilled in it. Thats where mine was but mine was all ghetto rigged when i bought it. The other one looks like the center support for the radiator but im not quite sure. hope this helps
