Magnaflow Muffler:
This muffler is a straight-thru design: No Chambers. When looking through one end you can see where it splits off into a "Y" and out the ends. The inside surface is riddled with holes to absorb some of the sound while not diverting the flow of the exhaust gases through convoluted chambers. Looks like a "glass pack"
The sound is noticably louder inside the cabin. Seems the ANC doesn't handle upgraded exhaust systems. During idle there is a nice deep sound and stays deep with no rasping harsh sound at all during acceleration. The sound can be almost be too loud at certain RPM's. I'm sorry did you say something?!?! I couldn't hear you over the exhaust!
Dual Exhaust:
What? Come again? While its not quite that bad, even with the OEM stereo at level 15, you will hear the exhaust overcome the music. For those not familiar with the Touring stereo, I think it is more powerful with the addition of a subwoofer.
However, while at cruising speed the exhaust doesn't become overbearing if you have the music on loud enough.
