This is my long term project. A mini van. In 2000 our family (which already had 3 mini's) was given two vans from a mate who used them to drive around their property. We scrapped one of the vans after taking off all the parts, making it a convertible, then turning the back half into a trailer. The other shell I have intermittently been working on over the years. Just straightening the body and preparing it for paint. It's a car I tinker around with as a break from the 4 other old rusty cars in the yard (Two other minis, a '67 sprinter and a Hillman imp).

Plan is to have an all black interior using these seats from a Datsun 240Z.

Also going to make a nice dark stained wood load floor.
More pics will be posted as slow progress is made.

I've been considering building up a hot 1100 for this car to take advantage of the lightweight and to make carrying cargo easier. I'd also like to keep it on the original 4" steel rims.

Some shots of the 1970 Mini "K" for kangaroo. An even longer term 'bare-metal' project - its just not worth selling - unless someone comes up with a half decent offer.

Looks like a good project that is going to be something awesome when it is done. 5 stars and keep up the good work. Also, check out my 1972 Triumph GT6 sometime and join my group if you would like. Any type of British car is welcome. http://groups.cardomain.com/groups/13157/pages/13675. Later, Jeff.
