This Jim Jim is in the process of being redone, then sold. I dont like driving this thing on pavement as it is a slug. It has lots of torque, plenty of power, but it still is not an enjoyable ride for those clean folk. I, however, love to take this thing offroad. It is a blast. I have only gotten it stuck once and that was on the shore of a lake. I've had to tow cement barriers out of the way (in hail storms, deep mud) to get out of the trails and it still hasnt failed me. I just replace the original starter and alternator and a new heater core is sitting on my desk. New rear suspension is going in within the month and a new stereo is going in by the end of summer. I'm hoping for a 3" body lift too, but that might be in my dreams to have by September.
I want to sell it though. My buddy's uncle has a 1988 (or '89... cant remember) Toyota Solara with a brand new 6 cyl engine in it. the engine's electrical is hooked up wrong so he wants to sell it. He's asking between 600-800. I believe ill go for it and spend the $400 for a shop to hook the engine up correctly.
Here is a pick of my truck
