Interior/MyGIGManaged to pick up a new MyGIG radio, this is available as an option in newer models. Chrysler says it will not work in their older vehicles, that's not entirely true. The head unit has a touch screen interface, 20 gig hard drive, DVD drive, and a built in tuner for Sirius radio. It's manufactured for Chrysler by Harman/Becker Automotive, a division of Harman International which also owns Infinity, JBL, and Harman Kardon among other brands.Remember what I said about it supposedly not working in older vehicles? Well if your Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep is new enough to use the CAN-BUS interface system it can be done, I used a MyGIG Lockpick Adapter from Coastal Electronics Technologies to hook it up. The Lockpick Adapter also unlocks many functions normally not available, such as watching DVD's while in motion, entering destinations while driving (if Nav-equipped) and enables the addition of extra A/V sources, back up camera, Uconnect Bluetooth (for non-nav MyGIGs which don't have it stock). I wanted something that would give me great sound with video capability while looking OEM enough to make people wonder if the truck came that way, this fits the bill perfectly. Right now it's piping sound through my Polk db650's, future plans include Alpine or JL components and one or two subs.
