My car is a 1992 Volkswagen Corrado G60. The car is pretty nice, been good to me for the little time that ive had it so far, knock on wood. All the car has done to it right at this moment is just a autotech chip, neuspeed lowering springs, catback exhaust, i cant remember what brand rims are on it. So pretty much the car is stock, but the thing is that the car comes from the factory with a s/c thats running good at 10+ psi. But i do have a lot of plans for the car, which im in the process of doing to it right now, so i will be posting pictures as i go along on the build. But i just recently bought an 2.0L ABA OBD2 bottom end and im currently looking for a 2.oL 16v head. The engine is getting sent out to get remachined and hot tanked and all that good stuff. Im getting JE forged pistons which will drop the compression from 10:1 to 8.5:1, umm forged rods also, Im going to be getting high rev valve springs and titanium retainers for the head, new intake and exhaust valves, depending on if i buy a head that has already been machined or if i get one that was just pulled of the block, ill prolly send it out to get that taken care of. But i might stick with the stock cams for now, i mean i can get them if i want, but i want to see how the car runs with the stock cams, but besides the block and head, lightened crank, new clutch, Eurospec 6spd trans, Garrett GT28RS turbo & intercooler setup. H&R coilovers, cadmium plated 11in. rotors front and back, wilwood 4 piston calipers, ummmmmm..... im sure im leaving some stuff out but i think you guys get the idea. I have some pictures of the car and pictures of the engine and i just got done taking everything off of it to be sent out, but check them out and lemme know what you think. I just recently installed bilstein struts on the front and rear, and bought the vr6 corrado strut bearings and bushings for the front, so it will be a little more heavy duty. kinda working on getting the rad support and hood from someone cuz i got into an accident. ill post more pics when its done.
