I had removed the stock single exhaust/dual muffler stock exhaust system and had a custom fabricated catback stainless straight pipe exhaust system. the reason why I chose this system for my vehicle is because it weighs about 30 lbs less than stock, its a straight pipe which means easier air flow instead of rerouting a single pipe to come out of 2 mufflers for best performance, and I didn't end up paying as much as most people do when they order and install aftermarket exhaust systems. Im not saying that I'm doubting the products of aftermarket companies, but you will always get the best bang for your money if you just do a little extensive research, thats all! thanks to piper motorsports, I am truly happy for what they did to my vehicle.
The tip of my custom exhaust is an oval stainless tip that is welded together with the rest of the exhaust system so it doesnt look like its "bolted on" for looks, and I had asked them to make the tip only to be aligned with the bumper, not any longer than that because it doesn't look obvious that its not original to both people and the cops, it still gives a "stock" look feeling.
The best way to describe how it sounds is that under normal driving conditions, assuming your on the speed limit. there is very little extra noise that is produce in comparison to stock, so therefore the exhaust does not look and sound like its supposed to be a cop magnet if you know what I mean. The only way to hear the difference is if I want to drive past normal conditions and thats how you'll know its not original, very deep sound in which how a V6 should sound like....I will post a video of the car running some time in the future so stay tuned!
Most people will say that I ruined the image of the V6 look of the vehicle because I removed the stock dual muffler/single exhaust pipe and changed it to a single custom catback stainless exhaust...The way that I want to build my vehicle is the make it perform a better with very little cosmetic differences because the car itself already looks great, it resembles cars that are thousands of dollars, yet it is practical and faster than some cars that are worth thousands more. As long as I know I have a V6 under the hood of my vehicle, then that is what makes it a V6 to begin with. Until I step on the gas, it will make most drivers think twice if I'm driving 4 cylinders or more....I will also debadge the "accord" and "V6" emblems very soon as well....
Installed Xenon 6000K HID's (High Intensity Discharge). I chose this set for my lighting because its color is low profile that it blends with the design of the vehicle in which I think honda should be using for their stock lighting in the first place, but since it isn't, it is unique to the vehicle. Also debadged the vehicle to make the car looking cleaner and to conceal what I have under the hood....
