be sure to check out my other rides. they get lonely without you!
Not another Forenza that is modified in Northwest Arkansas or Northeast Oklahoma that we have seen. The very few that we do see are all stock. we were having trouble with our sunroof not wanting to close, so we took it to the dealer. he said he didn't even know they came with them, bacuse ours is the only one he'd ever seen or heard of! how many of you have sunroofs?
Our filthy engine. Mandrel bent 3" stainless intake and k&n filter.I wrapped the intake with fiberglass header wrap to keep it nice an cool. The plug wire cover is painted to match the body and brakes.
JSP Impreza style spoiler. Don't remember who made the exhaust, it's been 2 years since it was put on. nice an mellow. Not loud, not quiet. I've Been thinking about changing it though, just for a different sound. I just don't know what kind of muffler I'm gonna use yet.
17" ICW wheels and Nexen 205/40/17 tires. Brakes and rotors painted to match the body.
5% window tint
Sprint 1.75" lowering spings, but they've settled down to about 2" after about a year of abuse. When I bought them they sent the wrong ones and I could not get ahold of anyone to send them back, so i modified my spring perches to make them fit. They are for an Elantra.
Beauty and the Beast!
just took the badges off
I try to keep a very clean car!
I was on my way to work one night last week about 3 A.M. and some A-HOLE thought it would be funny to put an orange road construction barrel in my lane! I saw it at the last second and swerved. it scraped from the front of the bumper all the way down the door. got the front wheel too. the mirror smashed into the window and shattered it. the mirror, not the window. It took 2 days of buffing and polishing, but it looks good as new now. I still have'nt got a new mirror though. It's $104 at the dealer.
the window is scratched and pitted from the mirror smashing into it
i didn't realize my cabin filter was so dirty until i put it next to the new one!
we took the car in last week to get the timing belt changed at 67000 miles, and they found that the water pump pulley backing plate was coming loose and was chewing up my timing belt! they called suzuki and apparently there is a recall on the water pump that noone told me about. my serpentine belt was worn out also. i knew that it was, i just hadn't gotten around to changing it. everything but the accesory belt was covered by the powertrain warranty. so all i had to pay was $75 for the belt and coolant instead of the origanal $600 they were gonna charge before they found out it was covered!! yay!! so have your water pumps checked out.
just washed and waxed with turtle wax ice. amazing stuff!
noticed the drivers rear brake was peeling. guess i didn't clean it well enough. duplicolor to the rescue!
that's better. i didn't do the face because you can't see it behind the wheel.
after definetly looks better
sprint springs. i hate winter because it's too cold to get out and do a thorough detailed clean on the car. otherwise it wouldn't be this bad.
this is the duplicolor paint i use on the brakes and spark plug wire cover. since it's a clear color like a candy the more you add the darker it gets, so it's hard to get all of them exactly the same.
