I wanted a car that no known company made aftermarket parts for. So when I found the cutlass I thought "this could be somthing" It was a unique body style and I though i could make it look good.
I first thought it could use a hood scoop. One problem: couldn't find a maker. Solution: make my own.

I took a aftermarket hood and a fiberglass hood scoop and graphed them together. It turned out great and i'm happy with the look. You can see the stock hood in front of the car.

Here is a pic of the final product. It took me a month to make and a week to paint.

Thanks. Car looks good! I like the way that cowl hood looks on there. Must have been pretty hard to mold that fiberglass into the hood. Ive been wanting to get one for a while, but its kind of last on the to-do-list. I need a couple other things first. You said the cut was in pieces ( although years ago ) what did you do/what has been done? --Jay
