Prior Project Cars
Oh, where to begin...
Let's start with the most challenging, and the scariest...
91 Ford Festiva L. Now before you start laughing, look at the motor that is set to go in. That is Mazda's B6 DOHC motor. Its from a Mercury Capri, but it is a direct relative of the 90-93 Miata. The main difference is this uses a distributor. Other than that, parts swap all day. I ended up installing a Miata engine harness and ECU (with CAS and coil pack). Redline went to 7200rpm.

(No it wasnt a waste of money, I probably spent a grand total of $1500 including the car.)
98 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. This car had EVERY bolt on made for the car; less pullies. Gude head pkg, AEM CAI, Greddy Header, RS*R Exhaust, etc. The only exterior work done was a Wings West GTR wing and clear tail lights. I used the stock wheels with Yokohama AVSi's. This car was FAST. I wish I could host the video of the burnout I did. Spun clear through 2nd gear.

99 Mazda Miata. The holy grail of my project cars. This car had every suspension bit; from Koni Yellows, RB Springs and sways, endlinks, etc. The big time mod was the Jackson Racing Superchager/ Intercooler and Link ECU with twin aux injectors. It started red, then went green, then volvo saffran. Check out the Jan 01 issue of HCI (Hot Compacts and Imports)..in the back of the magazine, take a look. Yep, very same Miata. ;-)

My wife's 2004 Mazda 3s Sedan

Dads WRX

My goal is to make my 02 SVT Focus beat the Miata in every aspect. Tough, I know. I have a few companies helping me along my way!!
