Hey my names Deric. I purchased this 93 Isuzu Pickup in June '07. I have plans to turn it into a nice, clean minitruck but I have big plans and shallow pockets lol.

When I bought the truck it was completely stock in everyway. My first purchase was some $25 Lightning Audio 4" speakers for the dash because the stock ones were shit. I got rid of the front emblem, sticker on the tailgate, the bug deflector and the ugly camo GA tag. I primered the tailgate because it was starting to rust a little (and because I was experimenting with paint for the first time). A hit and run would leave a dent in my driver's side door. Eventually a Sony Xplod head unit replaced the stock one and a Visonik amp/sub combo rested behind the driver's seat providing minimal bass response. Eventually I got tired of looking at the rear bumper so on day I unbolted it and tossed it. Cranking the torsion bars would put the front end closer to the ground and 4" djm blocks leveled it out. I was bored one day and decided to primer the rest of my bed. With some graduation money I threw 2 10" Power Acoustiks and a 1440w Power Acoustik amp and it's made alot of difference. For the longest time I had problems with getting fuel to the engine. On ebay I landed a Weber carb for cheaper than I could get a stock refurbished one. I had that installed along with a new fuel pump. After I got the bugs outta it, it's now running great (still a few bugs though). Not to mention the Weber looks alot better and takes up like a 1/4 of what the old one and airbox used to take up. Finding pride in my truck for once in a long time I cleaned and degreased the engine and was suprised how amazing it turned out. Fewer hours at work and higher prices at everything else has left me with no progress the past few months. As soon as work picks back up progression will continue as I have plans for a Isuzu Rodeo front end conv (already have the lights just have to mount them and find a rodeo grille), clear corners and bumper turn signals to replace the stock amber ones, rip out the bench seat and replace it with Isuzu Rodeo bucket seats, 17" chrome Cadillac Escalade rims to replace the stock 14s, build a custom sub and amp encloser and 'glass or bondo it and paint it black, bodywork to remove the dents I and others have accumlated on the body and lay down some black primer. I have other things I want to accomplish with the truck, such as bags and a body drop, but its just not in the cards right now. One thing that keeps me going is the mental image I have of this truck laid out and blacked out and someday everyone else will see what I'm seeing now. Until next time, keep it low folks.
