The Elky now has a little over 13,000 miles on it since the build was completed in July of 2007.

UPDATE:

"Aug 2011  It now has 25,000 on it.  Did the Hot Rod Power Tour this year and put a little over 2700 miles on it in a week.  Ran great and averaged a little over 17mpg for the trip."

As I said on page 1 " Another 3 to 9 years should just about get it totally finished!".  I constantly find things I want to change or add and over  the last couple of years have not let it have much rest.

After about a year something happened to the pigment in the paint and it got to where you could see the primer through it in the direct sun so it was stripped and re-painted.

Added some air brushing work.  Nothing too exotic as I am a conservative type of guy when it comes to any imagination.

The engine compartment has been upgraded with a little more chrome as well.

I am sure the process will continue but for now I have definetly slowed down on modifications.

UPDATE:  Started a new engine build.  Stage 2 with TA Performance aluminum heads.  It should be built, installed and running by end of September 11.

Please take the time to rate and come back as often as possible.

Very nice ride. You've done an excellent job on it. This car needs to be at the top of the list. 5*****
