My car is a 1976 LX SL/R Torana, Genuine L32 SL/R, with a M20 4 speed gearbox and a shortened VN Commodore disc brake rear end. I bought as it is about Feb 07 and I am slowly (extremely bloody slowly) restoring/modifying it to my liking.

slr253's 1976 Holden Torana I hope to respray it soon in the original colour, white. The engine bay has already been resprayed in 2pak. There is still a bit of rust to cut out, but I'm hoping to get that and the respray done soon.

slr253's 1976 Holden Torana The engine is a Holden 253 V8 (4.2 litre) with the following modifications; a Quadrajet 4 barrel carby attached to an Edelbrock performer manifold, electronic ignition, pacemaker extractors with dual exhaust and a warm cam as the heads are still standard. It has HQ Holden front disc brakes and VN Commodore rear disc brakes with Commodore stud patern. The wheels are Walkinshaw VL Group A 16 x 7's.

slr253's 1976 Holden Torana Interior is standard retrimed SL/R. Photos of the interior will be added at a later time.
