It was a beautiful sunny day today and I'd washed the car last night so I decided to take a few more pictures.
Just a different front angle.
And the other side..
Dead on front view.
So why not take some more from the rear! The rusty trunklid is an embarasment, but there's no sense putting it on until I can show the car the respect it deserves and paint the whole thing. (The replacement lid is mint but it's grey and that would look hurting unpainted! The replacement doors are grey as well.)
New gas tank installed this year...
Another interior shot. To complete the interior restoration I'll need to order a new carpet and have a couple of small rips on the driver's seat fixed. Already replaced the dash, column, half the console, headliner and rear seat.
It might be hard to tell but I've installed On Star on my rear view mirror. (Just kidding it's not hooked up) The mirror is from an '89 Ciera, it's the kind with map lights built in.
Another rear view.
Dash Board. For the steering wheel, I managed to find an Olds 98 aluminum wheel center cap emblem to fit the horn button. (Being the wheel is from a Cavalier, it had a Chev emblem in the center and that just wouldn't do....) Oh yeah, I'm not revving the car that high, the factory tach works but is horribly inacurate.
Behold the mighty 305! Like I said, planning to clean this up over the winter. It's exactly the way I bought it, with the exception of the MSD ignition and a high flow fuel filter. Smokes on start up, Runs great, gets terrible milage. I love it!
Another view. Looks nice but really needs a paint job. It was done a couple of years before I bought the car (By Maaco, Uh Oh!) but they did a crap job. Redone in the original colour, dark blue metallic. I'll do it the same, I love this colour. When I went searching for a Cutlass, I specificaly wanted a blue one with buckets and console and no vinyl roof. It took about 3 months to find this one out of Toronto.
Myself and the beast.

Anothet interior shot. I've got a nice new hula girl air freshener to go along with my dreamcatcher.
