m2k2ind's 1998 Pontiac Trans Am

so this is where it began, bought from a family friend in november of 05 after drewling over it for yearrrrs... years full of jealousy of course.

January came about changing the rear end to richmond racing 3.73's and Feb's tax return bought the 500amp alternator, two yellow top batteries, 4400w MA Audio Hardkore amp, 5 farad capacitor (to go between the batteries), 25 farad SLP capacitor) custom Trans Am box from www.subthump.com, and the two kicker 15" L7's that hit 173.6 db's

luckily the 400 lbs of system in the hatch weighs it down enough to let me hook up outa the hole!!

the rest of the system constists of 2 infinty componant systems and a vm9512ts touchscreen with nav, reverse cam, and ipod all hooked up.

Two more tv's are coming soon and then more pics will arrive

May of 06 i got tired of plain silver m2k2ind's 1998 Pontiac Trans Am
so i got it sprayed nissan's sheer silver with 2 pints of blue pearl added, and it didnt show very much so im gunna get it done again...

then in September i put a set of 315/35/17 sumitomos all the way around and wasted them after watching tokyo drift haha

Ran those untill January when i got these 19x8.5's for the front and massive 5" lipped 20x12's for the back!! wrapped in falken 452's they hood up just as good as the sumitomos.

Then in April 07 a rod bearing slipped so i had to do some engine work.

Sorry no pics of it yet, but i took it Hickmans Performance where they put in the 383 stroker kit, bored it out .40, shaved the heads and ported them along with the exhaust manifolds, and installed the new aluminum intake manifold, xtreme cam, 85mm throttle body, smooth bellow, slp mass air flow meter, and volant cold air intake.

the exhaust already had a bassani y pipe, and a 3 chamber flow master. (one of the best sounding ls1's around!)

All ive got left to do is put in the viper t56 6 speed, ford 9 in read end and take it to fbody motorsports to get it dyno tuned. (there are some things the hypertech just cant do!)

More to come soon!! m2k2ind's 1998 Pontiac Trans Am
