I bought this truck in 2007 from a wrecking yard in southern Arizona, It looked pretty rough. The fiberglass fenders where coming apart becuse of sun damage and it was several differnt colors of primer. But I had to get it becuse i had wanted this exact model since i was about seven. It looked like someone kinda got side tracked from finishing a engine swap becuse there were alot of parts in the bed that needed to be installed. Got it home and got it put together and fired it up the next day. It had a  300 that  was a remanufacted engine. My dad used to make surfboards in California so he was able to do a nice job resurfacing the fenders. The truck now has a 351 out of a 88 Bronco, it has the serpintine belt system and all the goods. I had to replace the 300 becuse it  cracked a ring. But that engine gave me many miles of good service. The 351 is a recent rebuild and i got it at a real good price becuse that whole bronco only cost me $200. I have been replacing most of the old parts on my truck with the newer bronco parts. Right now Im in the process of working on the body so the paint is'nt that nice but it should be painted up here pretty soon. Im also planing on swaping in a newer model five speed overdrive transmission, that v8 is kinda thirsty. Thank you for checking out my truck

nice truck. let me know how the 2 barrel conversion goes cause my truck has the 300 straight six with the one barrel. id like a 2 barrel instead. nice job on fixing it and saving it from the junkyard. 5 stars

My purple 1995 F-150 4x4 (not posted) has over 321,400 miles -yes it has the 300 6 w/5-speed combo. The rust is so bad it ddi not pass inspection. The motor still runs like a champ (used Mobile 1 oil since 1997, when I bought the truck with 29,000 miles).
