Presenting my 1985 SAAB 900 Turbo 16v in metallic silver (172H), three door, 5 speed manual with 258,000 km on it. (291,000 km now) I am the second owner as of June 2007.
The overall condition of the car is pretty good, but it does have a bit of rust on the drivers side wheel arch and a few small rust spots here and there. The interior is mint, save for a saggy headliner.
Credit has to go to my brother for sourcing the car and doing 90% the work on it but I am learning quickly.
Here is a list of all the work that has been done to it when we picked it up:
-All four ball joints replaced
-Front rottors replaced
-All break pads are new
-New steering rack
-Right side CV joint replaced
-New front left break caliper
-New FR wheel bearing
-New antenna mast x2
-Hole in floor patched
-Clutch @ 188,732
May 10, 2008 - Bosch 7mm plug wires, dist. cap and rotor
279,300 - oil supply line to turbo rusted out - replaced
280,100 - FL CV joint boot ripped -- replaced
I have done/added:
- Saab Carlson steering wheel
- Pioneer CD-MP3 deck + 10" subwoofer
- K&N open-air air filter
- Complete A/C delete
- SPG vent covers
- Headlight wiper delete
- Cat delete
