I'm still working on this. I guess I need to do something productive.

Oh...sorry...
Here are a few pictures of the car from ages ago, taken during the Clutch Install Fiasco of 2005.

I guess I should give a few details about the car. It's an '01 with the first generation 1.8 liter turbo engine, know by engine code as the AWD 1.8t. It's rated for 150hp from the factory. The early version that I have uses a Borg Warner KKK K03 turbo charger making about 8 psi of boost. Currently the engine remains stock. I have some hopes for it, but no immediate plans.
The transaxle is the 5-speed version. I've installed a upgraded Stage 1 clutch from ECS Tuning. It's quite a bit better than the factory dual mass piece, but is actually made up of a selection of OEM parts that work well on the 1.8t. It certainly couldn't be worse than the smoked stock clutch.
Currently I've only upgraded the head unit to an Eclipse CD3402 cd player. I love this unit as it is VERY simple. No Loudness, sub out, changer controls, mp3 or auxillery. It basically just plays cds and AM/FM. I have the standard Bass, Treble, Fade and Balance controls, but not much else. I generally prefer this as it should mean those more basic and improtant features have been well taken care of. It also doesn't have a detachable or flip-down face. While it somewhat sucks not having the anti-theft qualities of the detachable face, I prefer not to have the additional contacts and wear points.
I've had a couple different sub setups in the car in the past, but have none as of now. I've got a pair of MTX 5000 12" subs laying around, as well as an excessively large Visonik amp to power them, but haven't got all the necessary parts nailed down as of yet.
I also have a Rockford Fosgate Symmetry EPX2 signal processor to install. This is one piece I can hardlt wait to use. I've only wanted one since I got into car audio about 10 years ago. If you're not familiar with this unit, its a remote mounted brain with a control panel to mount up front. It has built-in 2-way bandpass crossover capabilities for front and rear as well as sub outputs and a set of full range outputs for front and rear. Mine also has the optional 28-band graphic equalizer card installed. The unit isn't as flexable as, say, the Alpine processor, but it is something I've always wanted. It also came with, in my case, a Balanced Line Transmitter. Once I get a proper replacement mini-DIN cable, that piece will let me run balanced signal from behind the deck to the trunk, helping to eliminate noise. Check out a few pictures.
