2002 Ford Focus SVT by TFB Designs
This Focus SVT won Best of Show at Focus on the Beach 2006.
This is my 2002 Ford Focus SVT. I bought this car two years ago with 36k miles. It was all stock except for the Ford Racing HID headlights. Since then this Focus has received quite a few modifications. Some of the mods I am most proud of are the custom heat shield, RAM AIR from the grill, and custom rear seat delete kit with 2 Bike mounts. The stock grill was switched out for the European Focus Grill. I made an Aluminum shield to force cold air coming in through the grill to be guided into the SVT intake snorkel.
Here you can see the aluminum shield through the front grill. Also notice the custom red Ford emblem overlay, build number decal and headlight eyelids.
Here is a shot of the custom aluminum heat shield that seals with the bottom of the hood. Cold air is forced in through the grill and fed directly to the intake, shielded from engine heat.
