Ok, I used to have a 1988 Dodge Power Ram, 360-4 bbl, Holley Street Avenger, Dana 44's. She was my Hunnie that I drove for 4 years. While I was on my first date with my boyfriend she was brutally destroyed by a drunk driver. I looked everywhere for an exact replacement. I couldn't find anything that struck the same as she did when I first saw her.
Finally, after some time, my boyfriend pointed out these trucks on Ebay. It was a buy one get one deal on 2 1971 Dodge trucks. A little older than what I was looking for, but something told me to go for it. One was a 2WD Camper Special with a good body and about 60,000 miles, the other was a 4WD Power Wagon with a very rotted body and about 15,000 miles. Both were powered by a 318-1 bbl, 3 speed auto, manual everything, Dana 60's, 4.10 gears. I figured I would use the 2WD body on the 4WD chassis. I plan to have about a foot of lift, somewhere around 40" tires, preferably Super Swampers, 440-4 bbl, 518 auto, front and rear disc brakes, a few body and interior mods, but I'm trying to keep it almost period correct and vintage looking with mostly mechanical upgrades. Did I mention the 440?
So, here's a few pics, decided to throw one of my 'Cuda and myself in there. My 'Cuda is a Panther Pink 1973 abortion that I've had since I was 12 years old.
