SpikeJR24's 2005 GMC Sierra   My name is Gary, I am from the city of Windsor, California. It is a small town located just about one hour north of San Francisco. My truck is a black 2005 GMC Sierra(SLE), short bed, regular cab. The motor is a 5.3 liter V-8 with a K&N 77 series intake. I also upgraded the motor with a Granatelli mass air flow sensor. To complete the breathing upgrades on it, I put on a Magnaflow 2 into 1 Exhaust system that is cut off in front of the rear axle to keep it looking extra clean. I made the exhaust high performance but very quiet at idle, and just the right tone when you get on the throttle. You don't want that annoying noise drowning out the sound of your music, or movie. To top off the horsepower in my ride, I added the Hypertech Power Programmer III which maxes out every computerized piece of Horse Power I could get, plus it gets rid of that weak speed limiter. I love the fact that I can check and clear trouble codes(DTC's) all by myself. I have run it on the lowest setting most of the time but it's fun to run Premium gas in it, and run it on all the highest settings. The suspension on the truck has been upgraded with a Belltech 3/4" drop(Springs,Hangers,Shackles,Shocks). I also just added the BellTech Street Performance Shocks(The Silver Ones) which has made a huge difference in the ride quality. The shocks that came with the kit ended up blowing out on me. The truck rolls on 22inch KMC "DIMES" which are painted black to match the already blacked out truck, but is complimented nicely by the polished stainless steel deep dish lip.SpikeJR24's 2005 GMC Sierra SpikeJR24's 2005 GMC Sierra The KMC wheels are wrapped in 285/35/22 Toyo Proxes S/T which make the wheel and tire package a beautiful site.

The headlights, and pretty much every bulb on the car, have been upgraded to Silverstar Halogen bulbs, I just got the newest gold kind, and those things light up super bright. I was thinking about doing an H.I.D. kit, but I am a little worried about getting too many tickets because I am blinding cops at night the way it is. The windows have all been tinted to carry on the "Murdered Out" theme. I had 5% laid over the rear factory tint which makes it about 1%, It's sick. The sides are tinted with 15% llumar tint. I need to put up some new picks so you can see just how dark it is. The Taillights, and Third Brake light were blacked out with the thicker tinting material by Joey Wong at A Shade Darker. They do sick work, and I wouldn't take any of my rides to anybody else. Inside the truck I have kept it simple by upgrading all stock speakers with Alpines. No big bass, just quality sound. It has a Cd player with steering wheel controls(Double-Din Touch Screen Pioneer as of Late) No Navigation though because I just don't really need, or want it. Also, I have added a ipod connection and a set of Infinity tweeters. Another black item on the truck that I put on is the new Black Powder Coated Carriage Works Billet Grille. It looks good with the rest of the black on the truck. I am in the process of re-tuning the computer in the truck, and hopefully I will get the horsepower somewhere around 370HP...Also, I am Painting the rear bumper black instead of getting a roll pan because i actually use my truck to tow my trailer and motorcycles, and a hidden hitch just doesnt work to well for me. I need that step in back, it comes in handy. Plus the new mirriors, surrounding chrome grille piece, and the door handles and buckets are all being painted black to match. Lastly, I don't know what I want to do with the headlights so i just cleared them out for now. I might buy some after market projection lights, or the headlights with the black backing, I just can't make up my mind.
