I, along with my wife, have to come to the realization that I have a sickness. I have auto-attention deficit disorder. Instead of trying to fight it, I've decided to embrace it :)
After waiting many years, I finally took the plunge on an Italian. I looked a long time to find the right 360 Modena - it had to be a low-key color (no red) and be a 6-speed (no jerky paddles for me).
I finally found a 2000 F360 Modena in Titanio Grigio (titanium silver). It pretty much has everything I wanted in a 360 plus some extra goodies.
Factory stuff:
- 6-speed manual
- Euro spec car (very fast due to weighing about 190lbs less than US 360)
- Factory leather wrapped roll bar (pretty darn rare)
- Factory full carbon fiber racing seats (I better not gain weight!)
- Challenge grill
- Red calipers
- Xenon headlights
As always, lots 'o aftermarket mods:
- Girodisc two piece floating cross drilled rotors
- 19' HRE 543 3-piece rims with Michelin PS2s
- Gruppe M carbon/kevlar intakes
- Larini high flow cats
- Fuchs (Cargraphic) sports exhaust (sounds incredible)
- 3M on front bumper, hood, front quarters and mirrors
- Tubi full carbon fiber engine surround (adds 10 hp :))
Hunkered down and ready to roll
HREs painted slightly darker than body color. I'm a firm believer in the PS2s!
An engine bay that deserves to be shown off. Lots of carbon fiber!
A pretty rare option - leather wrapped roll bar (I'm thinking of getting a four point harness)
A shot of the carbon fiber racing seats. I prefer these to the daytona seats.
A new shot taken at a Ferrari meet.
Polished aluminum key
Just installed a set of Scuderia shields!
