Engine and Performance
My Cutlass was a 3.1L V6, and the Stratus is a 2.7L V6. The Stratus is geared differently, so it still feels strange. However, after doing a little bit of research I've found a pleasant surprise. The 2.7 in the Stratus makes 200 bhp @ 5900 rpm and 192 lb.-ft. @ 4300 rpm, both numbers up from the 3.1 liter in the Cutlass (160 and 185 respectively).

First off, that stock air box and filter have got to go. I found a pretty good deal on eBay for an intake system, so I'll be ordering and installing that soon.
UPDATE: Performance intake is in the mail, and is scheduled for delivery on 7/12. I'll post pics of the install.
ANOTHER UPDATE: The intake was delivered, and I've installed it!

The install was simple enough, and I'd say it was a very worth while purchase. I love the way she purrs now.
So when I bought the Stratus, one of the things that I really liked was the muffler and its tailpipe. But after checking out the mufflers and tailpipes on other Sratuses (Strati?), I think I may have gotten a pleasant surprise. I think I've got an aftermarket muffler on there. It definitely sounds non-stock to me. Here's a few pics and a video. See for yourself and let me know in my guestbook what you think.
