Intro & Exterior

Welcome all. My Cutlass basically had one foot in the grave, so it was time to find a new car to play with. I decided to find something that's a little more "sensible," in that it'll be a little better on gas mileage and is more family friendly.

So I found this, my new 2001 Dodge Stratus sedan. New to me anyways.

UPDATE: I meant to do this before I left for Basic Training and Tech School for my Air Force job, but here's what it looks like now.  I put on mesh grill inserts and took off the front plate holder.

Yep, she's dirty, but I wanted to get pictures of the grill up as soon as I could.  I'll get better pics up when all the salt is off the roads

As I type this page, I've literally had this car for only 12 hours. I haven't done a single thing to it yet, but I've got several things lined up.

I guess we'll start by taking a quick peek around the outside.

I bought it used (obviously), so the paint job isn't perfect. I've got some buffing and waxing to do to get rid of some of the smaller chips and scratches.

Planned appearance upgrades are:
- HID bulbs for headlights and fog lamps (headlights done)
- chrome grill inserts (done, but got mesh instead, pics coming soon)
- smoked headlight and taillight films
- limo tint for the rear doors and back windshield (coming soon)

Appearance upgrades that I wish I could afford:
- ground effects
- 18" rims
- moon roof
